9 Tips for Anxiety

Journal
Write down when you feel anxious and what might’ve triggered it
Awareness
Doing that and/or noticing what causes it will help you better prepare for future situations
Unplug
For a few hours a day get away from your phone/computer or wherever you get your news
Call a Friend
Sometimes we just need someone to talk to (this doesn’t replace therapy)
Exercise
Go for a walk, do some yoga, train with a YouTube video (get that blood pumping)
Make art
Create ANYTHING, paint, do your makeup, wrap crystals, download a paint by numbers app
Deep Breathes
IN 4 seconds HOLD 4 seconds OUT 4 seconds
Meditation
There are zoom and live classes, even free YouTube videos or apps
Go Outside
Time in the sun and outdoors has been shown to improve/calm your mood
